You are full of good questions. I think that RP does effect flying. I hate to fly but don't think that had anything to do with what happened when I went to Okieland for the reunion last year.

I was okay until we got ready to land for the first time. I started hurting in the nose area like I was having a really bad flare. My ears plugged up and stayed that way for about a week and a half. Nose thing just lasted a bit. Once on the ground or at a different level or pressure it was okay. Like I said I don't know whether it was due to RP. Might have been cause from the damage RP has done. There were a few others that had the same problem I did that attended the reunion and flew in to Okieland but symptoms went away as fast as they came.
