Chrissy: There actually is temp. disability ins....if you pay into

it that is...I can't get it because I work for the federal

government and we don't pay into it....but it's TDI. Are you at all

familiar with that? Check your paystubs and it should be listed

there if you pay into it. From what I hear it takes about 2-3 weeks

to get but then they sort of " pro-rate " (I know that's not the right

term) it back to the first day you're out of work. Check into

it...I bet you do pay into it...the only ones I know of that don't

are federal gov't employees.
