Guest guest
There they did all sorts of tests. They did tests there that can't be done anywhere else in the country and they aren't approved by the FDA. Crystal- What kind of tests did they do for you at the Mayo? I'm wondering if it would be worth the trip and money for me because I've already had so many test; however, I live in a rural area so not sure if I need more testing. (Had CT, Ultrasound, ERCP, small bowel follow-followthru). Also I was sent to Denver, CO to a GI specialist who did EUS and extensive ERCP and recommended several blood tests for rare disorders of same symtom orgin. The EUS showed scarring in panc but not sure if it was from several stents that were placed within a 4 month time frame. (Stents seemed to make things worse, after about a week. Anyone have same probs?) Is there more to do? And what kinds of things do they test for and on? Thanks!
