My daughter is on her 3rd DOC Band and I have found that anything other than

paper sticker works fairly well. The paper ones dont tend to last that long. I

then went over the entire band with clear varnish. I usually scrub it off and

redo it after 2 months or so. I found everything I needed at our local s

craft store.

where did you get ideas for what theme stickers to put on

helmet?

Jack goes for his imaging tommorow at 9am for his helmet and will get his helmet

on the 15th of sept. i am now looking into stickers to decorate his doc band

with. but have no clue where to start. I have looked on sites but am boggled. Do

I want the clear back stickers and then use the nail polish over them. so i can

change themes?

Does Jack have older siblings? E. has 2 big brothers, so we all went to Hobby

Lobby and I let the brothers each pick a pack of stickers--they picked race cars

and bugs. On a later trip, we had construction vehicles and zoo animals. But I

let them both have their " theme " and E. has bugs on the front, vehicles on the

back. It does look cute, even without a unified theme--

The biggest thing though--think about putting his name on his helmet. People

seem to warm up to him faster with his name across the front in stickers--

The 2 month old stickers are getting grimy; I'm trying to decide if I want to do

a " fall " theme (probably won't look good on a blue helmet) or just put more of

our same stickers one but fresh ones---

My son just had his imaging yesterday and we are getting our helmet in the next couple weeks too.  We are going to get decorative stickers from Bling Your Band or Bling My Band (can't remember the exact name).  Google it.

Well the general ones on his site were picked by the siblings. The

rest it talks about the reason, events, season, etc. I just looked at

the calender and what we were doing
