Becky,

What does the jar say? That's one that I haven't heard before. Usually,

everyone has garlic powder in their cabinet.

A garlic goof????

I put a LITTLE minced garlic (the kind in the jar)in with his chicken

nuggets. After reading a previous email, I'm thinking that kind might

be illegal. I'm only on day 4. First 2 days with a screw up, the

last 2 I thought i was doing good...maybe not. Eventhough only a tiny

bit was put in, will it still mess up the whole diet?

I think the garlic in the jar is not legal... but I will wait to hear from

Sheila on that.

I personally would use fresh garlic..... and for a beginner, I would roast it

with olive oil.

Garlic POWDER is not legal.... unless you make your own.

I got scared last night and just threw the jar away. All i know is that it's

minced garlic in a jar and a little juice in there and you refrigerate it when

opened. I have some chicken nuggets left over from using it... contemplateing

tossing them.

Becky,

I'm sure that you saw the post from Sheila this morning saying that jarred

garlic is illegal, so toss the leftover nuggets. Did you also see her post

about how to make homemade garlic powder? I'd highly recommend that. My mom

made me a boat load this summer, and I use it all the time. I know you're not a

cooking finatic, so I'd recommend that you invest in a garlic press if you don't

already have one. It's a really fast way to mince your own garlic. You can get

them at WalMart, Target, Pampered Chef, Sanoma, ect. If you can, I'd

recommend investing in a more costly one like Pampered Chef or Sanoma.

I started with a WalMart one that did last too long. I broke in half. I hope

this isn't insulting, but let us know if you don't know how to use it to make

freshly minced garlic.
