Guest guest
, I so understand what you mean about Dr. R's letter. If I hadn't known I was doing the right thing before, that letter made me certain. Heaven forbid my employer should see it! 10/12/00 > > Hurray!! Guest guest
The farwell to moving up a size tour....We are having a cold snap in NC. I went into my closet for winter clothes, and my 24 W pants were too tight. I may look silly wearing light wt. pants and tops for the next two months, but I refuse to buy clothes now. I will be able to have the surgery in January and I hate the thought of buying anything new until I can buy something I like, not just because it fits. , Denver, NC > Hey Everyone, > > Just read the tour suggestions. Guest guest
, just a word of warning on not buying any new clothes. I started this process in May of this year, and swore that I would wear my clothes thin before I'd buy any more 'fat' clothes. Its' awful depressing wearing these old things, and feeling fat too. You may want to go buy yourself something just to cheer you until you start loosing. I did, something that naturally makes me look smaller! even tho. I know I'm not. Guest guest
You're Right!!! When those clothes didn't fit me this AM, I got totally depressed and felt fatter than ever. I am seeing my fat much more realistically since I started this process in February I probably will have to break down and shop, or my co-workers will take up a collection for me. Since my clinic on 2/19 I have only bought things for business trips or occasions. , Denver, NC, MGB hopeful for January (changed insurance) > > Hey Everyone, > > > > Just read the tour suggestions. Guest guest
, I have seen several emails on the subject of 'why do I feel fatter once I decided to have the MGB? I even wrote a post myself asking if anyone felt like they didn't want to go anywhere now that we know in a short while we will be so much smaller.. I got at least 6 answers back " yes " they were also having a few depressed moments and didn't know why now? My sister who is my biggest supporter says it this way " you have to hit rock bottom to decide on as serious as weight loss surgery to loose weight. but now that youre hitting rock bottom you not feeling as good about yourself as you did before! " Just means we're sooo ready. Keep your chins up, I know I am..
