I just wanted to share some info that I found about colloidal silver today. I

remember a post this week asking for ear infection remedies, and that Patty said

that she uses colloidal silver for topical healing. Someone else cautioned

against using it internally as it can cause the skin to turn grey, and it can be

dangerous. I actually have colloidal silver in my medicine cabinet, but haven't

used it much. A bit of internet research told me that there are three types of

" colloidal silver " on the market, but only one is true colloidal silver. Ionic

silver and true colloidal silver are not dangerous. The other one...can't

remember what it is called...is marketed as colloidal silver, and can be

dangerous if too much is taken. You will know if you have the " bad " kind

because it will foam up when shaken. It is suspended in a protein, and that is

what causes the foaming. A lot of interesting research has been done on

colloidal silver...the true form...and bacteria, parasites, ect. cannot survive

in the presence of true colloidal silver. It has been used to treat collera,

colitis, viruses, ect. I'm not going to go through everything, but it was very

interesting how colloidal silver relates to our immune system. I just googled

" uses for colloidal silver " and tons of info came up. I'll use the disclaimer

that I'm not a medical dr., and I am not advocating anyone go around drinking

colloidal silver. You should read the information for yourself. It's very

interesting.
