Guest guest
Dear Pecanbread Listmates, I hope many of you are using our excellent link which has recipes that are especially helpful for beginners: http://www.pecanbread.com/recipes.html We use most of our Pecanbread bandwidth to support the diet, and answer questions. Once you get your " sea legs " I think you will want to avail yourself of a wide choice of intriguing techniques and dishes that make the SCD a tasty and positive rather than a restrictive experience. I used to belong to SCD Recipe Creators and signed off when I found I was giving out with too much information that was better placed on Pecanbread so I formed the habit of just forwarding my favorite recipes to the moderator to post for me. However, I missed the interaction with others there. The recipe group welcomes chat and I know that busy as we are, it is nice to make time and have a place to just literally " dish. " There were many familiar names that were over on that list. Activity has slowed a bit in the past month, so on behalf of SCD Recipe Creator's very dedicated moderator, Donna... who has archived an incredible selection of files.. I urge you to join the list and talk turkey and nuts and cheese and cookies, cakes, sauces salads. One of the things I personally like to do is trying ideas borrowed from TV's most talented cooking show hosts and revising them so they are imprinted with the distinctive SCD style and edited to be SCD legal. You don't have to be either an experienced or expert cook to benefit. To join, go to: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/scdrecipe_creators/ and don't forget to bring along a hearty appetite! Guest guest
I went to the link provided for the scd recipe creators, and when I tried to sign in with my existing yahoo id, it said that it had been deactivated. Then when I tried to create a new yahoo account using my yahoo id, I was told that the id was already in use. I also have noticed in the past couple of days that not all of the posts are coming in to my email box at Bell South. Anyone got any ideas as to what might be up? I'm totally computer illiterate. Guest guest
Meleah, You may have to call your internet service provider. Sometimes they auto-flag messages from listserves as " spam " ..... so you need to make sure they are accepting them. You can also go into your Yahoo account and check the " bounce history " , to see if any messages have been bouncing back from your server. If so, you can re-set that.... or you may just have to clear it up on the server end, making sure they are letting yahoogroups mail through every time. She posted a slew of recipes today. If you go to the site and get access you may be able to read without posting in the meantime. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/scdrecipe_creators/ Carol F. Guest guest
Patty, I went to " my account " , but didn't see anything about a bounce history. This is dumb, I know, but where do I find this at?
