Guest guest
Hi there, It has been quite awhile since I have posted on here, but we have had major troubles with my son, Spencer's helmet. We went really well with his first helmet and he wore that for about 6-7 weeks before it got to small. He wore the helmet from 6 to 8 months old. We then went back to our Ortho for a new cast to be done. We got the new helmet but the shape of it was all wrong and we then had to wait while our Ortho was on holidays. Finally we had another casting done but then we waited weeks and weeks for the new helmet to arrive. Finally we have a new helmet, but my son is now 13 months old and he can take the helmet off. I must admit I am over this helmet business and can't really be bothered now. Spencer has brachycephaly (flat at the back) and with his hair a little longer, the flatness isn't that bad. While I would love to try and correct the shape of his head some more, I really cant see it happen. Is there anybody here with any suggestions?
