Guest guest
I had my appt. today with Dr. Baillie. I didn't really know what to expect. (He has the most beautiful ish accent). Anyway, I don't know what I expected him to say, and it's not that what he said was terrribly bad, but it wasn't what I wanted to hear. He said that I am " painting a pretty picture for chronic pancreatitis " . I am scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound on 5/12 but he wants it sooner than that, so I'm on standby and could have it any day now. He also said that another ERCP is probably in my future, but he doesn't want to tempt causing me to have a severe case of pancreatitis if he can help it at this point. He also mentioned the possibility that I may need stenting. I have read that many of you have them. Can someone explain the process to me? And, if any of you have had the endoscopic ultrasound, I would be interested in hearing about that as well. He switched me from the Vicodin my PCP prescribed to Percocet and changed my Pancrease to Creon. Anyone know the difference between the two? Thanks all for your help. I hope you are all feeling well... (NC)
