Hi Peg,

Nice to hear from you.

I do still have some pain on occasions, but it is manageable. It's strange

that you should mention that has pain when he eats - i do too. I

recently mentioned this to my pancreatic surgeon, and he said he didn't think i

was

taking enough Creon, and that i could take up to double the amount. i have

increased them slowly over a couple of weeks, but found that each day, by the

time

i had eaten my evening meal, i was really bloated and uncomfortable, and had

pain, so i have had to reduce the dose again.

I think you're right about taking one day at a time. There are no easy

answers with this illness. For me, i find my work keeps helps to keep me going.

I'm

a nurse and i work with sick children. It sort of helps to put my own problems

in to perspective.
