Dear Rikki,

I was so upset to hear of your blood clot. I have kept you in my prayers.

Please get better and take good care of yourself.

Lots of Hugs from Colorado

We all have you in our thoughts and prayers. Tell Trudy and Jude to do

something about this sucky hospital staff. I for one would not tolerate that

kind of treatment..under the influence of pain medication or not. Keep your

spirits up and hopefully all will fall into place soon. Very best wishes for

a speedy recovery from all the pre and post MGB " ers!!!

Sincerely,

G.

Ruqayya,

I hope this afternoon finds you well. I am sure you

are probably anxious but take everything easy and

sooner than you can shake a stick at you will be

feeling fine and on your weigh(ha,ha) down the scales.

I have you in my thoughts and am sending the good

vibes your way. Take care of yourself.

Rikki, Hi sweet friend. Please, give Christy a big thrown kiss for me when

you get the chance. It sounds as though she was a later surgery, like I was,

and so might not really wake up til the morning. But then, before you go out

from the hospital, send her my love. And the minute you get home to Florida,

post and let us know all is well with you. OK? Are you flying out tomorrow

evening? or in the hotel for a few more days? Glad to hear you are well and

taking good care of your 'baby'. Fondly, PhillyJude

I know exactly how you feel, shoot I think we all do. We go through

a full barrage of emotions dealing with the uncertainty of this

condition. We have talked many times on this board that dealing

with a chronic condition is emotionally very much like dealing with

the death of a loved one.

We will feel denial, saddness, anger, blame, frustration, and

finally acceptance. Only in our case we will go back and up and

around these emotions over and over again, never actually acheiving

any closure what so ever. Its incredibly frustrating and can make

you think you are loosing your mind. But, its all perfectly

normal.

Accept your feelings as a natural and normal part of the progression

of this condition. Dont try to fight them or defend them just allow

yourself to feel them and be honest with those around you that this

is how your feeling right now and its ok. Next week you'll may feel

completely different.

I dont know if this helps you any, I hope so.

Warmly,

answer to why and whereb and how, whats the definition of insane,

repeating the same actions expecting different results... or is that
