Guest guest
Hello, all.....Happy Mid-Week! As some of you know, my pulmy wants me to fly to the mainland this summer for some consults re: my tracheal stenosis, and to look at the possibility of stents. Of course, I am a bit anxious, especially as I read in the Up to Date on RP, that the bronchoscopic examination (especially the rigid bronchoscope) can further aggravate the RP condition. I appreciated reading about , , and Werner's experiences with their own bronchoscopic examinations.......AND would like to know if any other RP members would be willing to share their personal bronchoscopic experiences (positive OR negative) as well..... As they say, " Knowledge is power. " and I really need to make some decisions re: this area. I'm sure that some of you know how much effort it takes to coordinate all these medical appointments, as well as the hotel/air plane flight, tranportation etc..... Right now, I'm experiencing these sharp pains in my left chest that that occur for a few seconds 3-5 times throughout the day, or wakes me up in the middle of the night....my EKG in March was normal, so I'm leaning towards the assumption that these are STRESS related! I'm practicing my deept breathing exercises...trying to gain a hold on this stress response! Okay, I'm off to work...it's 7:49 a.m......they skies are clear and blue, temperature is a comfortable 75 degrees, and it's a gorgeous day.....too bad it's a work day, but, I am grateful to God that I do have a job that I can physically handle, and am able to work part-time for now .... I.will be looking forward to reading my RP digest at the end of the day.... ..Aloha!
