Guest guest
Thank you everyone for taking the time to post your experiences and knowledge about pancreatic enzyme therapy. I was taking creon 10, 3 pills with meals and 1-2 pills with small snacks. I didn't notice any inprovement with pain but I think I should try to take them again and for a longer period of time. I will definitely discuss this at my next doctor appt. I already have an issue with malabsorption from the celiac disease. I don't know how long I've had it but my scores from my bone density test were -2.5 and -2.9 so I already have osteoporosis and I'm only 36. So I take actonel to help build back some bone and to help prevent further bone loss too. My doctor is hoping that in approximately 4 years I should be on the lower end of normal (on the scale). On another note, My back is healing (slow but steady). I have been sitting or reclining in a recliner and applying ice on and off for short periods. I also have my own tens unit. I have been applying that on and off too. Today I am finally able to use the walker on my own and go to the bathroom by myself too! Just can't wait to take a shower again !!!
