Hmmm...I'm not sure why this would've happened to me because I did mix a small amount of the milk well with the starter, then added it back to the entire amount of milk, mixed well, and poured into the yogurt maker container. Funny because I even though about just mixing the whole amount of milk with the starter, but didn't because I didn't know what would happen.
