Guest guest
Hello there, I also prefer this group to be supportive in nature and frankly, LT's presence has been unpleasant for me - my MGB surgery will be Oct 4th. At the same time, it is my opinion that in addition to her own agenda, she has a genuine concern for those of us she now sees in danger. I disdain any form of censorship but since she has her own website, a separate but equal place for her to hold forth, her bannishment from this group does not really censor her - we can all go to her site and participate or lurk as we please. I do. I wanted to say that since she has now been refused access to have a voice on this egroup, I think it is our collective responsibility to refrain from any offensive talk about her since she can not defend herself. I for one, won't stay on this group for long if the " mob mentality " continues and Dr. R doesn't speak up to stop it. Importing messages from her egroups list into this one and then bashing her without her ability to respond here is not cool. AS I said, I am flying 3000 miles to come for my MGB surgery next week and I am sick to my stomach with her message and the method with which she does it, BUT freedom of speech is the most important right we defend in this country (and I'm a lefty). Furthermore, it does not matter who she is and what her background is or how credible she is or what color is her skin - she continues to insist that we see beyond her and look at the facts - either the ones she provides (use a box of salt if you choose) or ones you can investigate yourself....I have done so and continue to choose the MGB as the right surgery for me. Go onto her egroup if you want to debate her or berate her - but please, not here in her absence..... Thanks for listening (my 2 cents),
Guest guest
I agree with . I would like the importing to stop, also. If it is posted on the other site " Truths " we will go there if we want to read it. If we don't go there to read it, we must not WANT to read it!
