Guest guest
Yes just a few more hours to go. Good thing, the pain continues to worsen, must just be the nerves. I does make me feel very safe to have all these wonderful positive thoughts sent to God on my behalf. It almost feels like a hug. The cut time is 1pm; but you know how doctors are. Heidi called earlier and will stop by before I go in for surgery, in the pre op area, where I work, so that will be very nice. I hope she doesn't have any trouble finding it. The Campus is huge and its easy to get turned around. Speaking of work, a few weeks ago I sent in the formal request to have my fmla extended an additional 14 weeks so that my job would be secure. There was a regisitered letter in the post office so I will need to pick that up tomorrow before I go in for surgery. I hope that is not bad news. That's all it would take to push me right over the edge. Well that has my dander all flying just thinking about it. I'm the best damn nurse of that unit and they know it. Well I guess I should put that fight aside for the time being. Yes, is the surgeon and he is well respected. I have been taking care of his patients for years and years. They have come in from all over the country to see him and he treats each and every one of them as the person they are. He is an excellent physician good and kind. He and I just have lousy luck is all. He has tried everything he could to get me as well as possible. I hope our luck will change starting now. Omega 3 EFA is the same thing as the fish oils you wont need both. I used flaxseed oil 2.5 grams a day it is also a omega 3, but doesn't give you that fishey breathe. Thats good you taking in more vits and mins. I took a bundle; until I couldn't keep them down, that will change. I've been tinkering in my little gardens too. I spent the earlier part of the morning making signs of what to water and where. With a fate worse then death warning should any of my plants be abused or neglected. Hope you enjoyed your swim, some say that it is the perfect exercise. Sounds good to me. Guest guest
Fliss - I am excited about your trip to Barcelona. I hope it works out. I am also jealous that you get to retire in a year. I will be 50 in six weeks and cannot retire until 63! I hope my panc holds out. AND I can handle the stress of being a school administrator -as you well know! Guest guest
I'm glad the procedure was not too bad for you. I usually have a milkshake after being scoped as well. Sounds like they didn't tell you anything you didn't already know. Which is good in a way. When your lovely Irish GI talks with the Prof, they will be able to come up with a good solid plan. I know you will look forward to that. I like having a plan and it is driving me nutz that I dont have one. I did get thep ics they are great. You have a lovely family. I can see both you and Jim in both your boys. I need to send you some of my family for equal bragging rights. I LIKE the hat, looks great with the outfit and brings out your dimples when you smile. The wife and gf are cute, you'll have beautiful grandchildren one day. Chrissy
