Guest guest
I sent an email asking a question about my yogurt about an hour ago, and I still haven't received it in my own inbox; as a result, I'm writing another to ask the below questions: I started the goat yogurt last night for the first time. Realized at about 1 pm today that I wasn't supposed to screw the lids on the jars in the yogurt maker. Therefore, I took the lids off about half way through the 24-hour process. Do you think the yogurt is still good? Right now it has been on 25 hours so I think I need to stop the heating process and move on to get the jars in the fridge. Any ideas? Is it ruined? Guest guest
Hi Audrey, The yogurt should be fine. Don't let it ferment longer than 29 hours at the correct temperature range.
