Hello ,

I'm sorry you are experiencing pain even after having most of your

pancreas removed. I have no experience of this but Sue, who posts on

this board, also from the UK like myself, might be able to offer at

least the benefit of her experience as she had a pancreatectomy a

few years ago, with a small amount of pancreatic tissue left. I'm

sure she'll read this so I'll leave it to her to explain.

I think this is something you will need to discuss with your

pancreatic specialist or surgeon. He or she should know whether or

not the pseudocyst could cause pain and also how to treat it now.

The specialist will also be aware of anything else which could

possibly cause pain at this stage.

I'm sorry it's happening and I do hope it gets sorted out very

quickly.

With very good wishes,

Fliss
