Guest guest
Turkey Thursday is trotting ever closer, My favorite feature of the Thanksgiving Meal has always been the stuffing. It's no different on SCD. I prefer my stuffing as a side dish as I have never understand how long it can safely reside in cooked fowl. SCD stuffing is really yummy. Beat the Tom Toms! Start with a skillet and heat butter or oil. Add diced onion and garlic, the Simon and Garfunkle herbs and spices, (parsley, sage rosemary and thyme) some almond flour for thickening and pecan pieces for crunch. You can also add raisins, currents. dried UNSWEETENED cranberries, or cherries, celery, capers, chives. You get the drill! Keep stirring the mixture and add a tablespoon of chicken broth and a little wine to keep it all together and just cook it until it is as brown and reduced as you would like. Salt and pepper to taste. Stuffing is an advanced food b/c it contains nuts and dried fruits. Carol F.
