Hi Lucy: If you are interested you can order one on-line from Medicalert.com.

You

give them all the information that you want on a bracelet or pendant as well as

giving

them your information for the name of your doctors, medications, the emergency

contact person you want notified, etc. Emergency personel can get all the

information about you that they need from the phone number on the

bracelet..including your name. It's not cheap but very well may be a lifesaver

one day.

Best of all----it's available in numerous countries. Judy

Lucy,

Are you thinking about the medic-Alert bracelets? If so, check out their

website:

http://www.medicalert.org

I have one. I have had a bracelet since I was diagnosed as a diabetic in

1981. I beileve that anyone with any significant allergies or medical

conditions should have one. I have also listed my chronic pancreatitis

one my bracelet. What they engrave on your bracelet is upto you, though

they do have a space limitation for each size of bracelet or pendant.

You can get surgical steel, silver or gold-fill or 14kt. gold bracelets

and pendants. You are also able to go online and add additional

information regarding your health, who your doctors are and they will

also contact your family if you are ever in an accident. Most other

" medical alert " bracelets are either pre-engraved, or you can engrave

what you wish, but they don't offer the additional information services

that the Medic Alert products offer.
