Guest guest
Hello, My son is almost 6 1/2 mo and will be getting his DOC band next week. (moderate plagio) Our insurance has a dumb clause and will not cover any of his treatment. We contacted my husbands employer and made them aware of our frusteration, and they are actually contacting the insurance to see if anything can be done. The end result is unknown but I wanted to let you guys know that it never hurts to ask! I'm new to the group and I'm sure that many famlies have come across the same thing. Just wanted to share. Guest guest
Try making an appeal to the insurance company. There are some sample letters in the folders here. Many insurance companies initially deny coverage, then reconsider after an appeal. Also, make sure you double check the section of your policy entitled " Durable Medical Equipment " . Good Luck. > > Hello, > My son is almost 6 1/2 mo and will be getting his DOC band next week. (moderate plagio) Our insurance has a dumb clause and will not cover any of his treatment.
