Hi,:

A typical day for me right after surgery would be: yogurt (sweetened

with Nutrasweet, with my whey protein and other supplements added

in), a little bit of juice, a couple of saltines, some kind of

wonderful broth (loved the French Onion Soup at Applebee's), and more

yogurt with supplements, more juice, water.

About two weeks out, I was having smoothies made with soy milk, whey

protein, a little bit of frozen fruit, and the supplements, yogurt,

slightly heartier soups, juice, water, crackers. Eating about every

two hours.

About one month out, I was trying soft foods in additon to the above:

grits, pasta, heartier soups, smoothies, yogurt, juices, cottage

cheese. Eating about every two hours.

I'm about seven weeks out, and I'm eating just about anything I

want. I really like salads with lots of raw veggies, a small amount

of meat, soups, baked potatoes, fruit, cottage cheese, some pasta.

Bread and pasta and rice give me the hardest time, but I limit myself

to just a few bites.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Blair
