Thank-you everyone whoi reponds to her, she really enjoys talking to everyone. Here is my question. I was talking to our social worker about getting approved for her surgery with Dr. Sutherland, and she told me this story. She took her dog to the Vet and found out that the dog suffers from cronic pancreatitis, the Vet said that most of the dogs get it from Chem-lawn chemicals or any other kind of lawn care products. My question to everyone is how many have used similiar products on their lawns and have cronic pancreatitis. I am going to be researching this after has her surgery to see if any of the chemicals are known to casue pancreatitis. Please respond when you get a chance. Thank-you, Love always, Annette _____
Guest guest
My parents have a Schnauzer and he has Pancreatitis. From what the Vets here tell us and from information I've found on the internet , a lot of pure bred dogs are prone to Pancreatitis because they have a very high triglyceride level in their blood. I have never heard about the pesticide connection before. Something more to think about. > I cant say what brand I have used in in the past (usually the one on sale) > however the are all nitrogen based.
