Guest guest
Hi , I had a Beger's operation in 2000 (removal of most of the pancreas - a small piece is left to preserve the blood supply to the duodenum). I was fine until last September, when i started having pain again. I had further tests - another CT scan and an EUS, which showed that the small piece of pancreas i had left had become inflammed and i had to have this removed. I'm not sure if a pseudocyst could be causing your pain, but i suppose it is possible that if you have a pseudocyst it would cause pain. As Fliss has said, i think you need to discuss things further with your specialist. Maybe you would benefit from having an EUS (an endoscopic ultrasound) to see if there is another reason for your pain. Sorry i can't be of more help. If you want to contact me at all, i would be happy to answer any questions. Take care and i hope you get sorted out soon.
