Guest guest
I rang customs, and as long as I have a letter detailing why I am carrying them, they will let me take them..and I must return back to the USA with them, and can use the same letter to bring them back. I need 3 copies of the letter, and a copy of the prescription, and all meds must be in their original containers...the Actiq are a pain because the box is so big..could be so good if I could just take them out..perhaps I shall scatter them in the bottom of my carryon luggage (in a neat little pile) and just flatten the box so I still have the pharmacy prescription on them. My brother has his surgery on the 23rd June. He is starting to get worried about it. I spoke to his fiance the yesterday, and she said he woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack about it. The poor guy, he used to work in a bank, as I did, and it was unfortunate that he was the teller at the time of both holdups, that they held the gun to him demanding the money. The second time, they actually made him walk outside so they could get away. After that the bank put him in a department so he didn't have to face the general public, but it has left him with panic attacks. It's bad luck to have that happen once, but the odds of having that happen twice must surely be as rare as winning the lottery. Gosh, it just seems not quite real that i'm getting to go back home for a few weeks...*cath is secretly wanting to jump up and down for joy *LOL* has been on a plane before. We flew up to Canada 18 months ago. She was fine on the plane, she slept the whole way from Knoxville to Pittsburgh, then stood on my lap singing Wiggles songs from Pittsburgh to Toronto...and she slept most of the way back, but then she was 18 months old..things might be much different now *L* My doctor did say she wouldn't disagree with me giving a cold & flu chew to help her sleep if I needed to...especially since she herself just had a baby and can understand how it might be beneficial *L*...the antihistamine in it knocked emily out for a few hours when she had to take them for her cold & flu a few weeks back. I was going to send you a postcard from there...and I have a digital camera, so will be able to send you some pics by email also, although that will not be done until I get back... Well, time for me to try and look for that post on here again, and then deep clean a room in this house..decided if I thoroughly clean out one room a day, the house will be immaculate by the time I leave..except for emily pulling it apart again *L* Bye for now,
