Guest guest
What a beautiful family you have allot to be proud off. SHERRIE -- Merry after Christmas It can be hard, let me tell ya. That is the only thing that has helped me is knowing that they are no longer in pain or confused. I wish I had my best friend back to tell all my crap too, but am now thinking of going to a phsycologist or whatever i need, as I cannot burden my mom or my girls with all my fears and frustrations. With all those I love very much being in Heaven and alot of my family and some friends there too, this time of year is kinda touchy. My sister is in Massachussettes and we just cannot talk of things that are deep. And it is very hard for me to share it with my rp fam also. It seems so trivial sometimes with everything else. That is why I wanted to give thanks for that "poem". It helped. Hope all had a great Christmas. WE had a nice time some older friends (78 and 80) of my moms came over and my oldests boyfriend. On Sunday of last, my one brother in Dallas called a restaraunt here called solo's. and had us go for our Christmas present. It was cool, the main place is a regular building but there is an addition that is a real kc-97 airplane,m which is what we sat in. The girls got to go into the cockpit also so they enjoyed that one very much. I am enclosing a pic of from left to right is My daughter , my mom Joyce, me and my youngest daughter Anastasia. Also, am sending one of my girls at their last concert. I don't know how to go about putting it in our site for pics so whoever knows how to do if they can would appreciate it. Results of My Left knee is basically no cartiledge behind my knee cap (which I knew), but my medial ligament is just badly sprained. He did tell me though that the pain I get in my knee cap area will only get worse as time goes on due to the cartiledge leaving. Thought that was so thoughtful of him to tell me that one....LOL.. anyways to all Have a very Happy and Safe New Year. WE always celebrate with my girls and have champagne and food and games that nite. So keep safe and have fun.... Love you all. God Bless.\ Always, Barbara ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
HI , You asked if they ever test the cf kids for allergies. Well at least here, the cf docs don't but if you go to an allergist they do. We had to an allergist because of her continous sinus problems and occasional wheezing. He did the prick testing, where they test for about 60 substances by putting a small amount into the skin. Turned out she is allergic to tons of stuff. I am also so I think it runs in families. She is allergic to dust, molds, grass, trees, pollen and some animals. When she plays with her dog she has to wash afterwards, and he sometimes gives her hives. Once she went to a sleepover party and the family cat chose 's sleeping bag to spend the night. When she came home I thought she was getting sick but it turned out to be the cat. I had to wash her sleeping bag and all her clothes she had with her, plus give her a treatment and give her a bath. Probably gave her Benedryl too. After that she was fine. Anyway, they wanted to do allergy shots but Ang kept getting sick and she didn't get too far with them. I had shots myself for three years and it helped my allergies and asthma alot but I figured if she wants to try them again sometime it can wait until she is grown up and can take care of it herself. Nothing she has is life threatening and she takes Claritin D and she uses Intal for the wheezing. love, M mom of Nick age 21 nocf and 19 wcf
Guest guest
It was lovely to meet you and Eilish, I'm very grateful this list exists! Hope you enjoyed your time home , I know how exhausting it is living in at the Hospital! Fingers crossed you get an early release too. Guest guest
WOW..But it was worth it. They maybe worked harder then they would have. Some of us need incentives ....most do...AND besides , its great to know they can do, & as they get older, they simply know how competent they truly are. I know your proud of them.. sorry to hear though that Eilish isn't feeling too well. hopefully that cocktail will turn it around. LOVE & HUGS, grandmoMBEV Barbara Barbara, Glad all went well with Kristy. A central PICC line for us is great, never had any problems. Eilish is coughing so much mucus today I think she may yet vomit. So I started her on cipro & coli this evening and praying for some improvement. On Monday I am doing the CPR course as my certificate has expired so that if she has to have more IV's then we'll do them at home (you must have a valid CPR certificate here to do home IV's). I will give her till Friday to see any improvement then I'll call , which I have to do for her sputum results anyway. We got the report cards last night. Both kids did well. Eilish got 100% in her Maths exam, and Liam got all 90% + for all his exams. So we paid out cash big time last night. They get $1.00 for each 90% +. Guest guest
Barbara, We found out they came down from Waikerie. A long way to come for a few tyres. Eilish is in hsp. Her PICC went in beautifully and is such a neat job. We got a side room no problem as the ward is pretty empty. They are facing the city so Eilish and will have the best view of the fire works tonight. Happy New Year. Re: not cf related Always good to read about police catching the culrpits!!
