Guest guest
We have both ducks and chickens, and eggs from both, as we hoped that duck eggs would work for our son. He reacts to both. You might have a different experience, but Devon Houston told me that the proteins are basically the same in chicken and duck eggs. Before SCD, I used flax seed meal in water as a binder when I needed something to stick together-- like pancakes or meatballs-- but it doesn't work in most recipes. For SCD, if you can't use eggs or gelatin, there are a few cookie recipes-- granola cookies is one, in Lucy's book-- but not many.
