Yes this too is what I have learned that it is Phanthom pain or

residual pain. I have been told it is due to the nerve damage he had

sustained fighting this disease. I asked when he had the surgery

what happens to the nerves do they continue to fire? or do they die?

I really did not get an answer basically they really are not sure.

Brandans pain is now managable where as before there was no relief

whatsoever. Anyways... do u still have residual pain of anytype?

Sometimes I wonder if it is the way his stomach empties I know others

have had this problem and it seems alot of his pain is still when he

eats?. FOr us as always we will continue as we have to take

things " ONEDAY " at a time.. Thank you for your thoughts and kind

words...As always keeping you and yours in our thoughts and

prayers...Keep smilin (cuz sometimes its all one can do!) TTFN..: )
