Thanks to all for you input. I told my sister about your group and she plans to join (she has RP, she thinks).

Someone wrote about Shingles recently. I found a tx for the pain in the Aug. 2002 issue of 'Prevention ' magazine. Here is the recipe: Conbine:

1 oz. almond oil

10 drops rose geranium oil (20 for an adult)

Spread over the affected area on a regular basis. (Almond oil is packed with anti-inflammatory properties and has a long history of soothing sore and chaffed skin. Rose geranium oil contains a cocktail of compounds that reduces inflammation and pain and even quiets viruses, according the this magazine. Shingles is a viral condition)

I guess you can find these oils in a health food store. Good luck! I had Shingles as a teenager and remember the pain and itching. It was very uncomfortable!
