Hello,

I just joined this group although I have been on SCD for 7 months now.

I decided to join this group because I think there is more experience

here dealing with constipation..which is what I have. IBS-C.

I read through alot of the old posts on here..wow what a wealth of

information there is! I'm so excited to see what I can find.

I did have a question though. Up until a month or so ago I was doing

really good. Having a bm most days which is a HUGE step from where I

was prior to scd. I started having salads and that first week it was

like I didn't have C at all..the best week of my life! I thought it

was the raw salads because that was the only thing I had changed. Then

after a week or so of it going really good it changed drastically and

Im back to not 'going' at all, with my tum being hugely bloated. I

don't know what happened. I read alot of posts on fruit being good but

fruit, cooked or raw, make things worse. Nut flour is the same. I made

" bread " and it hurt so much when I finally did 'go' so I threw out all

the rest. The prunes worked in beginning but not anymore.

I basically eat cooked veggies, eggs, dripped yogurt, cheese, poultry

and fish. I don't understand what of those things could be doing this.

So, I'm sure others on here have IBS-C too..can anyone suggest

anything at all?

Thankyou so much!

God Bless

What cooked veggies are you eating?

What cheese and about how much /day?

What yogurt starter? How much yogurt/day?

Did you start with the intro diet and gradually add in food.

There are two important links on constipation at

http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/

Go to the " Knowledge Base " and then to

1. " Constipation " and

2. " Constipation continued "
