Guest guest
I thought that was a good question.I give my son ultrase mt20 for just about everything that doesnt move(i'm kidding of course!)But seriously, I give him enzymes cuz i thought they do have fat(dont they, or maybe not cuz their part of that Atkins diet.)Anyway, anything that gives him gas i'm sure to give him pills for, and eggs definitely qualify with him!Cant wait to hear some more responses. Patty, mom to Tyler wcf & 2wocf > do boiled eggs need enzymes? I mean do eggs have fat? And exactly what do > enzymes really cover, I know juices,,jello and those type of foods do not need > enzymes. I was just thinking about it. Can someone let me know about the eggs. > Thanks > > >
Guest guest
Our CF team explained to us that the number of enzymes correlate with the amount of fat & protein in a food item. The more fat & /or protein, the more enzymes. Eggs are full of protein, therefore definitely need enzymes. They've always told us that things which are pure sugars (candy, drinks, gummmies, etc.) are the only things excluded from enzymes. I always look on the labels for protein & fat counts. They are sometimes surprising. Hope this helps. > do boiled eggs need enzymes? I mean do eggs have fat? Guest guest
I would say yes because eggs have protein and enzymes are needed to digest protein. I am not sure if they have fat but I guess they do since they are supposed to have a lot of cholesterol which is fat I think. love, M a stupid question do boiled eggs need enzymes? I mean do eggs have fat?
