Guest guest
My opinion is to try the yogurt yourself, and see if it obviously affects the baby. I think you'd have a pretty good shot of knowing by going that route since you've always been able to tell very clearly if anything that you ate bothered him. As far as your son, could you just put a little of the yogurt on a muffin or something? It's only a tiny bit, and I know that he won't eat anything from a spoon. Would he balk at eating a muffin if it had a little bit of yogurt spread on the top? If you notice some serious die-off reaction from the yogurt, you can wait a day or two in between giving more. Don't forget the epson salts baths and activated charcoal. Let us know how it goes. Guest guest
Michele, You should be able to mix that small amount of yogurt into a glass of juice without him knowing it's there. That's all I can think of. Yes, you want to start with no more than 1/4 tsp... and have a day or so to observe whatever the response is. Be prepared that it could trigger die-off.... which can be confused with dairy reaction. Wait and watch, then increase by just a small amount.... wait and watch again. Patti Trying the yogurt so I'm just verifying that I shouldn't give any of us more then 1/4t/day to start? If there are die off symptoms, do I wait until they level off before increasing the amount of yogurt/day? Do you give the 1/4t to the kids directly? I think two of them will eat it but I'm not sure how to get it into my autistic son (takes nothing off a spoon unfortunately). Are you using raw goat's? That's what I got for this. It smelled much better then the goat's milk from the store, so hopefully it will be good :-).
