I wanted to ask if you find that your goat yogurt gets as thick as yogurt made with half n half ? I finally got a good batch of yogurt using half and half and a good yogurt from whole foods, forget the brand but it didn't have anything illegal. I should write down some of what I do. I use 2% goat's milk not full fat and I get acceptable thickish yogurt. Levin throrized that I may be tolerating the 2% better because with less fat globules there are fewer antigens. It makes sense. I started the diet with cow yogurt but tolerated it intermittently. Since switching from whole goat's milk to the 2% I tolerate it all the time. This might not be advisible for someone who is underweight but Elaine states in the book that skim and partly skimmed milk can be used as well as various thickness of cream with no additives.
