How to help baby sleep with the helmet?

Dear Group members,

My baby girl is 6 months old. Due to torticollis, she has developed a mis-shapen

head. She started to wear a helmet a week ago, but it has been horrible for her.

She would cry constantly once the helmet is on and she cannot sleep well. Can

group give me some suggestions regarding what I can do to help her sleep better?

My son got his band at 5 months and also had trouble sleeping in it. We decided

on put him on his belly since he can roll over if he wants too. He started

sleeping through the night again. Before we decided to do this, I took a wedge

and instead of putting his back it in we put his head in it. He couldn't move

his head that much so he didn't wake himself wake as much. He still woke up

some. Hope this helps!!
