Guest guest
Madison has had 15 nasal surgerys and she is 21/2 currently shes in the hospital and they sedated her for a PIC line well her stats went down to 87 so they tried to deep suction her they couldnt make it past the back of the nostril because of polyps my advice is onece they have surgery they have it again and again so if that CT scan doesnt show excessive polyps be insistent that you try everything Flonase Nasonex EVERYTHING because surgery sucks... they say they need subsequent surgeries like every 3 months...Also you try a water pic my two yr old loves have her nose washed out with it ask your ent...Most of the time they do have bacteria growng Madison has psedomonus (cant spell it) but they only tell after they take a specimen. Over all it sucks...the breathing is hard but just be lucky he knows to breathe out of his mouth...Maddie has not figured that out

Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, had a ct scan a couple of years ago, and it showed he was full of infection behind his polyp. His ENT wanted to try putting him on Bactroban nasal saline (a tube of Bactroban ointment mixed with a bottle of plain nasal saline) 2x a day--for 30 days, and it worked like a charm. He went almost a year without a sinus infection. We just recently had to go another round because he was keeping a sinus infection. I hope this will help you some. ) Take care, Deana mom to 13 ncf, and 7 wcf ----- Original Message ----- > Hey........my little guy, Dylan (7), has grown more polps - he has sinus > surgery in February. Guest guest
Wow and I thought was bad! I take it back! She's had 13 sinus surgeries but that was in 15 years! And now she has gone 4 years without one. So maybe some kids grow out of that, or I don't know what helped, maybe Tobi? Anyway, you certainly have my sympathy! love, M
Guest guest
> Madison has had 15 nasal surgerys and she is 21/2 currently Am I reading this correctly? Madison is 30 mo old and she has had 15 surgeries. That is a surgery every 2 months. I thought my son was bad having a surgery every 6 months last year. jan
