Guest guest
Hello friends - I'm not chelating proper, but since starting on SCD we think that my son may have started excreting on his own. One of his stools had a metallic smell and we've seen significant jumps in cognitive, social and other areas since starting the diet. We were pretty sure that he was having absorption issues (low selenium and zinc even after 1 year on super nu thera); and I am running on the theory that since declaring war on the bacteria in his lower intestine, Luke is now getting the nutrients he needs to detoxify himself. Anyways, my son has developed a sort of red, bumpy rash on parts of his body in the past few days. They don't seem to bother him and they seem to come and go in splotches. In previous reading on chelation routines I read about a so called 'mecury rash' that would sometimes come up after a round of chelation. The standard literature / online chatter would tell me that this is completely bogus, but at this point I'm not too interested in what they have to say. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what should I be worrying about, doing about it? Thanks so much. __________________________________________________
