SCD legal Amino Acid Supplements

Hi guys,

Can some one please tell me what amino acid supplement is Elaine approved and

SCD compliant. Is the Kirkman truly legal? Which one would you suggest.

She is so sensitive and I don't want to do anything that will derail our

success.

I would like to try this with Kiki.

I don't know anything about amino acid supplements. I think I would want

professional guidance about which ones to give, in what quantities. I know they

have to be balanced. You should probably consult with her doctor.

Kirkman Labs know which of their products are legal and illegal on the diet. You

can check the label against the legal/illegal supplement additive list and see

if any of those ingredients are included.

I am fairly sure that there is no such thing as an " Elaine approved " amino acid

supplement. She suggested just the Freeda vitamins and the fish oil, I believe.

Yes Patti you are right. I laughed when I read this. I didn't

realize how it sounded when I wrote for " Elaine approved amino acids " .

LOL!

Maybe we should just make sure that Kiki continues to get enough

protiens and her vitamins, fish oils and calcium, and stop worrying so

much. After all she has improved so much in the last few months.

It can't help but save us money. All these supplements get a little

expensive. I need to trust testimonials and realize that in time she

will heal completely from her intestinal problems. WE can hope.

We are only 8 months out and I know that it takes much longer than

this to heal from intestinal disease. I should relax a bit.
