I suffer from proctitis, and this is what happens to me when I have a flair up . For me it's definitely not constipation, but inflamation . I take Canasa which is a form of mesalamine (which is used for other forms of colitis in an enema which is overkill for proctitis). I've been much more " normal " on SCD... and don't have to take as much of the anti-inflamitory eating this way (hooray... I'm uninsurable and a refill costs around $500 for the meds).
