cashew butter - roasted or raw?

The book says to eat only raw cashews, but what about cashew butter? I am only

finding cashew butter made from roasted cashews at my local HF store. (My area

has

very few HF stores, so that maybe the reason.)

So, Do cashew have to be raw in butter?
