Guest guest
I emailed earlier about pears possibly causing runny pooh. Patti you said apples and bananas are supposed to do the opposite and firm up pooh, but after talking with my husband, he reminded me that we used to give G , who is ASD, applejuice and apples to make him pooh when he was constipated. (he often had constipation prior to the diet, pooping every other day or every 2 days) If that didn't work we went to pears and then prune juice. That was always the recommendation by pediatrician, friends and good ol grandma. It seems to me that the one thing my child does enjoy, his apple/pear sauce, may be contributing to his runny pooh. Never in the past would he have eaten such quantities of apples/pears, especially morning noon and night for 9 days. Just need clarification. Our pooh has gone from grey to tan/carmel color within the last 2 days so maybe something good is going on. Becky
