Guest guest
My doctor, for one opinion, says that everyone should be on Tamiflu, an antiviral medication within 48 hours of the first sniffle--and he does not mean just us per sons with cf--he means everyone. From my son, I understand that that is what the military on the whole is also doing. This is a major epidemic. My doctor says that having the flu shot (which I cannot have) does lessen the severity, but that Tamiflu is the most helpful immediately if the menace strikes. I know that is just one doctor, but he is a great one! Good luck to all at cfparents with this one--very scary! Love, n Rojas possible flu exposure UUUGGGHHHH I just found out that was probably exposed to the flu. My MIL and her friend took and the friend's granddaughter out to look at the Chirstmas lights and displays the other night. Now the friend's granddaughter, Jordan, has the flu. seems fine now but I am worried because we saw one of her cousins last night and will be seeing more of them tonight. I just hope that didn't get it and we are not passing it to others. DID have the flu shot so she probably will be ok, but I don't know if she could still pass it on to the other kids. Anyone know? I am thinking about staying home from the family thing tonight in case she has it but she seems fine.........advice? suggestions? mom of 5 with CF
