Good Morning!!!

I am very frustrated right now. Actually at witts end. I try

to stay strong but this is getting to me. The flu feeling increased

Wednesday afternoon and keeps getting worse. Called the ID Md

yesterday and he said to finish the antibiotics, last one this am

and we will see what happens. He said the antibiotics may be making

me sicker. Why still a fever??? He said they are concerned with

that due to how many procedures I have had over the past year and he

has been talking to my cardioligist and they are still concerned

about the infection getting into my blood stream and infecting my

heart valve/graft. He faxed me over more orders for cultures, etc.

He said once off the antibiotics if the flu feeling does not

decrease and the fever stays I am to go to the ER and give the MD

there the orders. He said they will park me in the hospital. I asked

him if the antibiotic they gave me can penetrate the panc, he said

yes.

Also purchased a meter at the pharmacy to check my glucose

levels, cost 19.99, not bad. Level last night was 144 and this AM

was 131. So will check these levels thru the weekend and see whats

up there. I will try and avoid the ER if I can and go see the ID Md

in his office next week. I just don't get it why they can't kill

this bug.

Also, sorry if I am too blunt sometimes. I always mean well and

sometimes I think my messages are taken wrong. This group means

alot to me and I hope I have not hurt anyones feelings. Sometimes

my anger/fear towards the medical community makes me hard.

I hope everyone is having a decent day and thanks for being

here.

Love,

W

Wisconsin
