keeping kosher

Just wondering if there's anyone else on here who keeps kosher? I've searched

for a Yahoo group about SCD and keeping kosher, but haven't found one. Before I

start one, I want to make sure I'm not talking to just myself!

I find that many of the recipes are not acceptable for kosher diets (i.e.

recipes combining dairy w. meat, and as far as I know, there is not a kosher

gelatin that is acceptable). Also, the standard kosher " go arounds " , such as

subbing rice milk for dairy milk, margarine for butter, etc. can't be done. On

the positive side, there may be SCD legal kosher products not widely available

that someone near a kosher market would have access to.

Since my dd has only been on the diet four months, I am hoping someone more

experienced than I already has formed such a group.
