For small individual servings of fruit pie try these three

combinations. The method is the same for each.

Preheat oven to 350-375 F. Use a 4 " ceramic dish. I like the white ones

with little handles that are also for onion soup. You can also use

Pyrex.

Crust is optional. Use crushed nuts with a little honey and melted

butter pressed into the dish.

Pear Pie

One peeled sliced pear

5-6 pecan halves

2 pats of butter

1 tablespoon honey

1 few drops of vanilla

a dash of cinnamon

Arrange pear slices in dish. Sprinkle on other ingredients, breaking

butter into small pieces. Bake 40 minutes. Cool and serve with room

temperature Roquefort or Blue Cheese or top with chilled dripped

yogurt.

Apple Pie

One peeled sliced apple

a few drops of lemon juice

5-6 walnut halves

2 pats of butter

1 tablespoon honey

1 few drops of vanilla

a dash of cinnamon

Arrange apple slices in dish. Sprinkle on other ingredients, breaking

butter into small pieces. Bake 40 minutes. Cool and serve with room

temperature Cheddar cheese.

Peach Pie

One peeled sliced large peach

5-6 blanched almond halves

2 pats of butter

1 tablespoon honey

1 few drops of vanilla

a dash of cloves

Arrange apple slices in dish. Sprinkle on other ingredients, breaking

butter into small pieces. Bake 40 minutes. Cool and serve with room

temperature Brie cheese
