Hi everyone,

I have some excellent news....Since I was in the hospital last month

with another attack my doctor put me on Oxycontin well I got severly

constipated with the steatorrhea. (It helps to as your pharmacist)

the doctor told me to take MOM to get me going and the take

benefiber. These were pretty expensive so I asked the pharmacist

what is best and he told me to take the ducolax (I think the

ingrediant is biscodyl and follow with generic fiber tablets daily.

Well the ducolax really worked and I didn't have the usual cramping

with taking laxitives(although I clogged the toilet up). I have been

taking the 2 fibercon (generic) every morning with a bottle of

water. Would believe that I do not have all the gas and bloating. I

have been with out gas and bloating in the 3yrs since I was diagnosed.

I don't know if it is drinking all the water (4 16.9oz of water/day.

I have cut back on my caffeine intake lord knows I love my english

toffee cappacchino in the mornings. I have also started doing a

little more activity. I have an exercise cd that I did before I got

really sick. I did it for 7mins. I know that doesn't sound like

much but it made me feel so good. Today at work I used the stairs at

my office building and walked up 5 flights. I did is slowly but that

was another hurdle for me.

In general I feel great today. Just thought I would share. Oh and

one more thing...I am on Oxycontin 20mgs now from the Oxy 40mg and

taking the Oxycodone 5mg for breakthrough which is maybe 4 times a

day.

Thanks for listening
