Your comments were right on the mark, Ginny. I didn't look at this

surgery as a magic bullet either. " Any " loss I experience is an

improvement over what I was doing on my own. I, for one, am extremely

thankful that Dr. R made me research and learn about this surgery

before he would operate on me. We are adults who bear responsibilty

for the decisions we make. I feel that my decision was the " most

informed " one I've ever made in my life, thanks to Dr. R.
