Thanks so much for the support, Fliss. I know, I don't want a bad

diagnosis either, but I just can't see what else could be causing so

much illness.

If I feel better, I'm sure my employer would be more than happy to

accomodate me at more demanding job, should I feel I can handle it.

They have been wonderful so far. I could not ask to be treated any

better.

Thanks again. Tammy M.

Fliss,

thanks for the compliment. I'm not doing so hot. As you probably know, I had

an attack Sunday and got home from the hospital Wednesday. I felt better on

Thursday, but I think I probably overdid things in the house. My internal med

doc wanted to see me today, so my mom drove me to the appointment since he's 45

minutes or so away and I was certainly not up to driving. He just told me to

continue being very careful with my diet and to make sure I get a lot of extra

rest. However, he told me that I do need to be making sure I'm moving my joints

some. I told him about my increased joint pain, especially in my left hip and

knee. He thinks it's probably bursitis and increased my anti-inflammatory med

to twice a day. He told me I definitely have osteoarthritis in my knee because

he could feel it. Not suprising because my mom has SEVERE osteoarthritis.

She's already had a shoulder replacement. She recently had arthroscopic knee

surgery just to buy her a little more time before she has no choice but to have

knee replacement. She's having the middle joints of three fingers on her right

hand replaced Sep 17th. She never stops, though, despite dealing with joint

pain in many joints!

Oh, the doc said, " Make sure you don't eat anything that's at all appetizing for

several more days until you get over this latest attack. " He is so funny at

times! I told him no worries since I don't really have much of an appetite

anyway!

So, that's the latest on me. It could be worse since I'm at least out of the

hospital and hope to stay away for a long while!

take care,

W
