Guest guest
My son has been cf and yeast free for 6 months. His stools are regular and he is sleeping great. I have noticed a plateu. He is still stimmy and nothing as changed that. I will be started the SCD this week and had some questions. He has had several incidences when he went off the cf/yeast free diet without any obvious changes. It was like it didn't matter. Stools stayed fine, sleep was fine, stimming unchanged. This made me think he might need some other kind of diet. I want him to increase verablaizations and reduced stimming. Since he doesn't seem to have major digestive problems when he eats regular food do you think I can skip the into SCD and just dive right in? From your experiences have you seen this diet help with stimming (hand flapping, toe walking, humming, looking up at windows). Please let me know your thoughts. Oh, by the way my son just turned 4 and has austism. He receives lots of other therapies and most recently HBOT (the most helpful thing so far). He has yeast overgrowth issues.
