Guest guest
Sometimes when does that we put alternating warm and cold wash cloths on her chest. That seems to help some. Also try chest pt lightly, it may help him get to sleep. sleeps on several pillows to start off, then she naturally rolls off them. If I rub her back or lightly beat on her back it sometimes helps, too. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Guest guest
Well, fortunately for me it is only 11:11 p.m. here where I am, and I can certainly keep in my thoughts and hopes. I will be away much of the day tomor row with my grandchildren (two of them) who are going " shopping " with me and " out to dinner, " but I will turn on old Herkimer in the a.m. and hope that you shall have posted how is doing, maybe better, I hope! This is so hard. Love, n Rojas, wcf, mom of 3 ADULTS, the youngest of whom has cystic fibrosis, as well, and is doing very well, fortunately. Maybe you can cat-nap a bit in between spells! its 2 am and I don't know what to do Well, is up and he is hacking so hard he is throwing up, I gave him an albuteral treatment but it hardly helped, I also gave him some tussin but I am worried. As soon as his pulmogolist opens in the morning I am going to give them a call. But what can I do now for him, he is so uncomfortable with the dry hack, its keeping him awake. I doubt I will go back to bed, I am staying right by his side until he gets better. Please keep in your thoughts. Thanks....,mommy of 5 years old w/cf/adhd and 2 years old no cf
Guest guest
Also hope is doing better by now and you've been able to get some help from his doctor. The only other thing I could suggest is try sitting in the bathroom with the shower running hot water, sometimes the steam helps Kristy's asthma cough. Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear this. It is hard when they are so sick ( I put Vick's Vapor rub on their chests and backs, after I give them a and Vapor Bath bath (with 1/3 of a bottle), ---sometimes I take them outside in the cold air for a few minutes and let them catch their breath, before I give them a bath in the vapor bath. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. You and will be in my thoughts and prayers.... I hope you have a Happy New Year ) Take care, Deana Mom to 13 no cf and 7 wcf
